Communiqué 2022

Amersfoort, 18 October 2022

The Anglican–Old Catholic International Coordinating Council (AOCICC) met in Amersfoort in the Netherlands, from 16 to 18 October 2022. The meeting was hosted by the Union of Utrecht. This was the first meeting of the Council under its new mandate.

The work of this meeting centred on sharing news about the life of the two communions and  identifying priorities from the mandate for the next phase of the Council’s work; including responses  to the many crises facing society and closer collaboration at all levels on theological and mission issues.

The Council joined in worship led by the Most Revd Bernd Wallet, Archbishop of Utrecht and Head of the International Bishops’ Conference of the Old Catholic Churches of the Union of Utrecht.

The next meeting is planned to be in September 2023.
