Participation in ecumenical organisations

World Council of Churches

The World Council of Churches is “a fellowship of churches which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the scriptures, and therefore seek to fulfil together their common calling to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”

With the exception of the Old-Catholic Church in the Czech Republic, all the member churches of the Union of Utrecht are members of the World Council of Churches.

Conference of European Churches

The Conference of European Churches is a fellowship bringing together 114 churches from different traditions from all over Europe for dialogue, advocacy, and joint action. As a regional ecumenical organisation, CEC wants to strengthen the common witness, act in service to Europe and the world, promote the work for the unity of the Church.
