The consecration of Bernd Wallet, the newly elected Archbishop of Utrecht in February, has been postponed yet again. The cathedral chapter of Utrecht made this decision last week, as currently only 30 people are allowed to attend a service in closed rooms. The consecration was to take place on 7 November in Deventer, but this was already a replacement date for the one in June.
A new consecration date has not yet been set.
