The bishops of the Union of Utrecht gathered for their annual meeting at the fully renovated Eduard Herzog House in Konstancin-Jeziorna.
The gathering began, as has now become customary, with the “Meeting of Anglican and Old Catholic Bishops of Continental Europe.” Bishops from various Anglican dioceses were present to discuss, together with the Old Catholic bishops, the churches in Europe and cooperation at the various levels of church life.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Old Catholic bishops commenced their official session. Official representatives of several full communion partners were present, including Bishop Eckerdal on behalf of the Archbishop of Uppsala and Bishop Klusmeyer on behalf of the Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church. Bishop Eagles participated online on Tuesday afternoon on behalf of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
