Presently
theological studies are carried out at any of the theological
faculties in the Czech Republic. This is possible at the following
faculties:

The
synod of the Old Catholic church of the Czech Republic has
determined the following requirements for those desiring
ordination:
Deacon:
A completed three year programme of studies on a theological
faculty and an additional examination by the examining board of
the Old Catholic Church.
Priest:
A completed five year programme of studies on a theological
faculty and an additional examination by the examining board of
the Old Catholic Church.
The
examining board is made up of Bishop Dusan Hejbal, Prof. Dr.
Holeton, Prof. Dr. Lasek
It
is planned to introduce a chair in Old Catholic Theology at the
Hussite faculty of the University in Prague for the Winter
semester 2003/04. Should this be carried out, the following
curriculum will be used.
